INTAKE AND PRE-CLEANING
Hammer mill type SK 7, 14
Hammer mills are used for grinding of raw materials mainly to feeding purposes. They are mostly cereals (wheat, rye, barley   oats), maize, pulses, ground oil cakes and pelfed dried fodder.

The mills can be used in other feilds of application which should be consulted with the manufacturer. Processed raw materials are fed through the inlet into the grinding chamber with a rotor with hammers hanged on pins. Due to high speed of the rotor material is forced against the chamber circumference formed by perforated circumference formed by perforated sheet. By impacts of hammers and on the sieve material is ground, penetrates  the sieve perforation and falls down through the outlet. Ground material quality (granulation) is governed by the size of the sieve perforation.
Benefits
  • Reliable operation with no permanent attendance necessary
  • Low electric power input
  • Space sawing design
  • Installation on anti-vibration insulators
  • Increased efficiency of sifting
  • Simple maintenance

Description of the machine
A steel frame bears a screwed on electric motor. The machine rotor consisting of a hub, a bearing plate and hammers hanging on pins is fixed to the motor shaft.

The machine case is made of steel sheet and furnished with detachable sealed cover (SK 7) or sealed door (SK 14). The perforated sheet sieve is fitted inside the machine case. The entire assembly is mounted on anti-vibration seating.
