INTAKE AND PRE-CLEANING
Trier stations
The trier grading units are especially used in seed cleaning stations, in grain cleaners of mills and in malting barley assorting lines. They do for picking up of admixtures and contaminationes that have different form and length as the grain. In the cleaning process the trier stations are located behind the machine that especially removes among others stones.

The selection runs in drums that have dimpled jacket. The incomming grain falls in the drum (3). With the rotation the short particles are catched in the pits and they are carried out along the circuit in the accumulating trough (2) (inside the drum) and are handled to the trough outlet (6).
The longer particles that doesn´t get into the pits or that overbalance owing to their length and fall back stay in the drum and are handled to the drum outlet (7). Using the trier for picking up of short admixtures, primarily of fine weed ball particles and corn fragments (the type B) the corn stays on the bottom of the rotating drum and the short admixtures are carried out in the accumulating trough. Using the trier for picking up of longer and bigger admixtures as a corn (oats, ergot, maize, pulses) (the type A) the admixtures stay on the bottom of the drum and the corn is carried out into the accumulating trough.

Podle funkce se pláště trierů označují následovně:

  • vybíraní delších a větších příměsí
  • vybírání kratších příměsí
  • kontrolní vybírání delších a kratších příměsí (prodloužená část pláště A)
  • kontrolní vybírání kratších příměsí (prodloužená část pláště B)
  • Vyráběné jsou stanice v následujících sestavách: B, AB, BD, ACBD

According to the function the trier jackets are specified as follow :

  • picking up of longer and bigger admixtures
  • picking up of shorter admixtures
  • check picking up of longer and bigger admixtures (extended jacked part A)
  • check picking up of shorter admixtures (extended jacked part B)

The stations are made in following arrangements :

  • B, AB, BD, ACBD, BDBD with the drum length 1700 and 2500 mm
  • another possible variants of trier stations are arrangements AC, ACAC
Benefits
  • Reliable operation with no permanent attendance necessary
  • Easy visual check of the machine operation
  • Simple control and adjustment for different sorts of grain
  • Simple installation

Description of the machine
All-metal construction consists of following parts:

  • Cast iron inlet and outlet parts bear shafts of the drums. Both inlets and outlets are furnished with check glass inserts and sampling means
  • Centre parts of the trieur drums - shafts with troughs and worms. Position of the trough is adjustable and shown on a scale
  • Indented drums
  • Stand
  • Drive
  • Drum outlet
  • Drum lauder

The dimpling size is given by the technological equipment of the machine and by the quality of the cleaned grain.

The trier stations are made in two sizes:

  • Diameter of rolls are 710 mm
  • The drum lenght is accordingto the output 1700 mm – 2 až 4 t.h-1, 2500 mm – 5 až 8 t.h-1

The output is determined for wheat with a specific weight of 750 kg.m3

Note: power supply 380/220 V, 50 Hz. Other power parameters must be notified to the supplier. For wheat and humidity, performance is up to 15%. Aspiration is solved by connecting to central aspiration.
